WHAT WFHP IS

WFHP LLC is a finance platform that develops real estate. HISTORY

WFHP was founded by Jason Talbot, who has served as Managing Partner since 2021. The firm operated in its early years under the name Workforce Housing Partners and is headquartered at 1674 Meridian Ave, Suite 220, Miami Beach, Florida 33139. Its reference transaction is CASA at FIU, approximately $241.2 million in tax exempt bonds issued through the Miami-Dade County Industrial Development Authority and closed in February 2026, with J.P. Morgan and KeyBanc as underwriters.

 

HOW WFHP WORKS

The firm identifies land the market has not yet priced correctly and controls it through long escrow, option, or direct acquisition. It advances entitlements to a permit ready milestone supported by an independent appraisal that the tax exempt bond market will underwrite. It coordinates TEFRA approval and the full public finance closing across issuer, bond counsel, underwriters, trustee, and borrower. At closing, an independent 501(c)(3) borrower acquires the asset at appraised fair market value with tax exempt bond proceeds, and WFHP moves to a fee for service role through delivery.
