JASON TALBOT
MANAGING PARTNER · WFHP LLC

OVERVIEW
Jason Talbot is Managing Partner of WFHP LLC, a Miami Beach based municipal structured finance platform that executes TEFRA and 501(c)(3) tax exempt bond transactions for student housing, workforce housing, senior and specialty healthcare, and public infrastructure. He came to structured finance from two decades as a developer and general contractor, and he approaches real estate as a capital markets problem: outcomes come from basis, control, and structure, not from optimism.
Across two decades, nine states, more than 10,000 units and more than 20 million square feet, Talbot has worked every layer of the capital stack, private and public. The pattern he found held in every cycle: the largest value inflection happens at the permit ready milestone, when entitlement, documentation, and independent validation turn complexity into something the market can price and finance. WFHP is built around that milestone.
WFHP LLC, MANAGING PARTNER, 2021 TO PRESENT
Founded WFHP in Miami Beach. The firm controls sites through long escrow, option, or direct acquisition, advances them to a permit ready and independently appraised milestone, coordinates TEFRA approval and the public finance closing, and transfers the asset to an independent 501(c)(3) borrower financed with tax exempt bond proceeds. WFHP operated in its early years under the name Workforce Housing Partners.
Reference transaction: CASA at FIU, approximately $241.2 million in total bond financing issued through the Miami-Dade County Industrial Development Authority, closed February 2026, with J.P. Morgan and KeyBanc as underwriters. WFHP served as developer through WFHP RAL SW JV LLC, a joint venture of WFHP and RAL Companies. The firm's pipeline exceeds $600 million across senior care facilities in Florida, student housing in Ohio, and healthcare in California.

GTC CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, PRESIDENT, 2003 TO 2012

BEGINNINGS
Talbot began in Detroit, where distressed assets and hesitant capital made one thing obvious early: results come from basis, control, and structure, and from the discipline to move a property from uncertainty to clarity. In 2020 he relocated to Miami and built WFHP around a single question: where do the best risk adjusted outcomes come from once speculation is stripped away?
